Alan Humphrey's Driving School Stevenage

Welcome, my name is Alan Humphrey. My driving school provides a variety of competitively priced driving lessons in Stevenage, Hitchin, Letchworth and the surrounding areas.

My aim as a fully qualified, DSA driving instructor is simple - not only will I teach you how to pass the driving test but I will also teach you how to drive safely and with confidence on our ever congested roads.

I treat every learner driver as an individual and structure driving lessons accordingly. I pride myself on my patience and when a student gets frustrated we work together to find the solution to the problem.

Together this has helped me achieve a pass rate that is well above the driving school national average for first time passes.

Over the years I have had considerable success teaching the more mature student to drive and pass the driving test. I will gladly teach anyone from 17 years olds to 80+ year olds. All are welcome. In fact many an older driver has come to me for refresher lessons and I have always gained enjoyment and satisfaction when working with such drivers.

All driving tuition is carried out on a one to one basis. You will never have to share the car with another student.
